What should be done about this problem? There are many things that can be done, but this problem will only end if leaders stand up, and individuals do their part. One thing that can be done is to write to government officials or Congress, to try to reduce wasting so much food. Another thing that can be done is advocating food security as a human right. Other things include creating a food safety net for schools, and donating to a food pantry. No matter what you do, just do something to try to end this problem. It can be done if we all work.
